Initial Costs = $38,300 Life as missionaries presents some unique expenses that we’ll need your help to meet. There are a lot of one time only costs like purchasing a vehicle that drives on the other side of the road, flying our family of six to Zambia, obtaining passports, visas, and work permits, and purchasing basic household appliances that are suited to their electrical configuration. We call these our “Initial Costs” and we will need to have these costs covered before we can make the move to Zambia.
Monthly Support = $5325 Our monthly support is broken into three categories: living expenses, ministry expenses, and our taxes, fees, and insurance. Our living expenses cover things like rent, utilities, food, and supplies which totals 32% of our monthly support. Because we are wanting to stay productive and meet the urgent needs of the people we are serving, we have established a ministry fund that will cover our costs of all of our discipleship materials and construction project materials. This fund also covers the cost of returning to the U.S. for our furloughs. The ministry expenses account for 32% of our monthly support. Finally, there is the “non-exciting” but very necessary expenses we have of making sure we are on the up and up with governments. It also ensures that we can get taken care of medically if and when the need arises. The taxes, fees, and insurance portion of our monthly support is 36% of our monthly support.
Thank you for your prayers and for considering how to partner with us financially in this ministry!
