Micah 6:8, “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Z is for Zambia. Located in Southern Africa with 13 million people. We will be living in Chongwe about thirty minutes from Lusaka the capital. Our new address is PO Box 161 Chongwe, Zambia Africa.
A is for Airplanes. After our commissioning service on November 24th, we will spend a week with family. Then we will leave on December 2nd from Chicago and fly to London. In London we will stay one night and fly the next day to Johannesburg. Finally we will fly from Johannesburg to Lusaka.
M is for Message of Hope. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him has everlasting life.” Jesus came, died on the cross, and rose again. If we confess our sin and believe in Him, we can have eternal life.
B is for Bags. Each person in our family is allowed two 27-gallon totes, black and yellow of course (Go Hawks!), weighing no more than fifty pounds each.
I is for Immunizations, Insurance, and iPhones. Say November 6th at our house and our kids will scream, “No shots!”
Yes, that is the day our entire family gets shots for Africa. We are also finalizing our health insurance and buying iPhones to keep in touch. Viber will be a free texting program we will be using.
A is for Automobile. After lots of research and prayer, our Toyota Land Cruiser has been ordered and shipped from Japan to Lusaka. Please pray for no delays or complications. The container is still in routine too. Please keep praying for that too.
Excited to go,
Jeff & Heidi

1. We are at 95% and have already ordered our plane tickets for Zambia! We are all set to leave on December 2nd.
2. Our Commissioning service is set for Sunday, November 24 at 3pm. The service will be held at Ankeny Free Church – 118 NW Linden Ankeny, IA 50023. Anyone can attend and it will be our last Sunday in Iowa. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you to all who have prayed for us and helped us along the way. We are constantly amazed and encouraged – Praise the Lord!!!
3. We could use a bit of help before we go too if anyone lives close by and is available to help. As we have mentioned before, the house that we are living in now is rent free in exchange for my labor on it to get it ready to sell. As we were painting the ceilings, the old texture began to completely fall off and needs to be recovered with new 3/8″ sheetrock. It is a lot of work and it would help immensely if a crew of guys could help me knock out the work quickly. I will begin hanging the new sheetrock on Monday, October 21. Please respond to this email if you think you could help out.
Finally, I have attached one of my favorite pictures from Zambia and here is a verse that will help put things in perspective today (no matter what you’re facing). Is there anything too hard for the Lord?
Isaiah 40:26 says, “Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of His might, and because He is strong in power not one is missing.”
….read the rest of the chapter if you really needed this today
God bless you all,
